- Lung 7 – To find this acupressure point, make the thumbs-up sign and look at the point on your wrist at the base of your thumb. You should see a depression between two tendons. Activating this acupressure point relieves cough, reduces fever, soothes sore throat, and relieves headaches.
- Gall Bladder 21 – This acupressure point is situated on top of the shoulder halfway between the spine and the outer shoulder. You can relieve stiff neck and shoulder, reduce dizziness, reduce fever, and relieve back and neck pain by activating it.
- Stomach 36 – To locate this acupressure point, measure four finger-widths down from the bottom of the kneecap. It is situated on the muscle along the outer part of the shin. Activating this acupressure point reduces stress, relieves nausea, and expels pathogens from the body to boost your immune system.
To perform acupressure on yourself at home, hold each point for about one minute on both sides of the body, making a circular motion at the point of pressure.
