GA4 Stream-Level Data Redaction
In addition to the application-level protections above, we recommend enabling Google Analytics 4’s web-stream data-redaction setting for email addresses and any sensitive query parameters as a defense-in-depth measure. The website itself transmits no query parameters carrying contact or healthcare information to analytics, and query strings are stripped before any page_location is sent, so stream-level redaction serves as an additional safeguard rather than a primary control. (This is a configuration step in the GA4 admin interface and is recommended to be reviewed by the practice’s analytics administrator.)

Managing & Withdrawing Consent
Use the “Cookie Preferences” link in the footer at any time to change your choices or withdraw analytics consent. Withdrawing consent stops optional analytics from that point forward. You can also clear cookies and local storage in your browser settings.
Healthcare-Sensitive Pages
On pages about specific conditions or treatments, analytics (when enabled) receives only a generic area label — not the specific health-related URL or page title. No advertising audiences are created from visits to healthcare-sensitive pages.
